Sampling the Spatial Storm

See the storm countdown at the base? Every 10 days, the planet experiences a 24-hour spatial storm; only a few places are safe. During the first 12 hours of 'Disturbance,' we can survive for a short time inside; I think Mud has a method to resist it. During the last 12 hours of 'Distortion,' we can barely survive. Spatial storms are dangerous but contain energy with high research value. I need samples. During the 'Disturbance' phase, find a high point to collect samples. The hill next to the Farmstead pier will do.
