2.1 Basic

Old fishing rod: Can be made on the workbench, useful

Earthworm: Bring one with you Shovel (made on the workbench), just dig a hole when you come across it when browsing the map. It is enough for 20-30 novices to fish for a day

Bait: Slightly advanced, if there are many earthworms, you can use it without it. It is equivalent. ① You can make it on the workbench, 2 earthworms + 3 soda crackers (available from vending machines) = 3 fish baits. It’s hard to say whether it’s a good deal or not, haha. I personally feel that earthworms do not affect luck. ② The cook can buy a bait for more than 500 Duck Cap: Unlocked and purchased after completing Fish King 1. Purchase it from the chef in the picture above. It is not necessary but helpful. It is easy to obtain

Toilet Cleaning Spirit + R6 Battery + cippo Lighter: Fish three special fish just to unlock the "Food Therapy" in "Survival Skills". You can ignore it. I usually search pictures and stock up, and 10 is generally enough to tolerate mistakes. In my personal test, I can catch the target special fish 3-4 times 5-6 times for the first time. Among them, cippo can be purchased from the purple merchant on the mountain in Area Zero. It costs more than 500. You can buy 2 at a time. You need to wait for the refresh. Note that you can only buy it with cash.

2.2 Upgraded version

Good fishing rod: Unlock the recipe after completing Fish King 5, which requires a meat cleaver (the weapon of the rampaging red chicken) + 1 pen (the explosion rate is slightly lower, so you need to stock up) + 1 line

3 How to finish fishing as soon as possible in 3-4 days

Based on the materials in 2 above, fish in three areas. It is recommended to fish from day to night just for fishing, and do nothing else unless you are kissed on the way there. This article does not rule out the factor of personal luck.

3.1 Weather Pay attention to the time on the right side of the upper left corner: ①Day starts at 6:00/dusk at 18:00/night after 22:00

3.2 Safety precautions

There are mushroom monsters on rainy days: it is still difficult to deal with in the early stage after only playing for a few hours. It loses blood quickly when surrounded by 4-5 monsters, so wear a hemostatic bandage. The loot can be reserved for 20 gym "exercise" upgrades, and there are 3 more gym "walking food" tasks.

Fishing caps and old fishing rods are not safe enough. It is recommended to clear out the surrounding NPCs and then replace them with new ones for fishing.

3.3 Operations

3.3.1 It is recommended to fish during the day and fish more at night

Green-backed Bighead Carp [Rain + Night] and Purple Damselfish [Night] have a lower explosion rate, the latter is slightly higher, and the former has about 10 fish. It is recommended to catch more than 10 fish in one place continuously after 22:00 at night.

3.3.2 Regional special fish

3-5 special fish are enough

Area Zero: [Recommended on rainy days], bring earthworms + toilet cleaning spirit, green agouti Warehouse area: sunny day + [daytime recommended], earthworm + cippo lighter, big-eyed redfish

Farm town: rainy day, earthworm + R6 battery, green southern milkfish

After having the duck cap mentioned above, it seems that fishing is not difficult. After completing Fish King 5 first, you can grab a fishing rod and fish.

3.3.3 Other fish

Other explosion rates are automatically enough when you catch the above fish. Just pay a little attention to the two types of red goldfish + red kujuku, which can only be caught [during the day], and have 4-5 fish each. There is also a kind of pink goldfish that can only be caught at night, and it will automatically catch them when you catch them.

3.4 Backpack space

All fish are in one grid. Buckets are not required. The red barrel is 2.5kg and has 6 grids; the blue barrel is 2.4kg and has 5 grids; the yellow barrel is 2.6kg and has 5 grids. You don’t need to bring a bucket when you go fishing. The "Never Air Force" mission requires a blue barrel.
